Self Flashing

Self-Flashing and Circular skylights are designed for installation on a flat or low slope roof. The unit consists of a welded aluminum sash (thermally broken is standard but other options are available), acrylic or polycarbonate glazing in dome or pyramid style (single or double dome), and a welded retaining angle. The welded aluminum curb is 9" high (6 and 12’’ available as an option) with 1" of insulation and an aluminum inner skin. Curb also includes a 3" mounting flange. Thermally broken units will have thermal barriers between outer curb and inner skin.

Venting units (not applicable to round skylights) will include a removable insect screen and detachable operator for 90-degree opening angle.

Self-Flashing, Thermally Broken, Insulated Curb (Dome) Specification:

Self-Flashing Acrylic (dome or pyramid as an option) skylights, ORCA Manufacturing, Inc., Model SFA-TB, 9" ISC (6" and 12" curbs available as an option as well as custom heights available upon request) shall be factory assembled units, each consisting of acrylic domes or pyramids, with .072 extruded glazing sash with polyurethane thermal break to prevent condensation on interior portions of aluminum frame and with extruded aluminum glazing retaining angle. Each unit will have a built-in evaporative condensation gutter. Insulated curbs shall be of double wall construction of corrosion resistant aluminum connected at top and bottom with thermal barriers. Units shall have a 3" mounting flange for installation to roof deck. Above is of all welded construction.

Each unit will have a built-in evaporative condensation gutter. Insulated curbs shall be of double wall construction of corrosion resistant aluminum connected at top and bottom with thermal barriers. Units shall have a 3" mounting flange for installation to roof deck. Above is of all welded construction.

Self-Flashing Acrylic (Pyramid or dome as an option) skylights, ORCA Manufacturing, Inc., Model SFA, 9" ISC (6" and 12" curbs available as an option as well as custom heights available upon request) shall be factory assembled units, each consisting of acrylic pyramids or domes, with .072 extruded glazing sash with weep holes to divert condensation to the outside and with extruded aluminum glazing retaining angle. Each unit will have a built-in evaporative condensation gutter. Insulated curbs shall be of double wall construction of corrosion resistant aluminum connected at top and bottom with thermal barriers. Units shall have a 3" mounting flange for installation to roof deck. Above is of all welded construction.
